The room at The Celestine Kyoto was spacious and beautifully decorated, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The onsen was a great addition, providing a relaxing experience. The staff were extremely helpful and polite throughout our stay.
One downside was the check-in process, which took longer than expected. We were initially told that the room we booked was unavailable and had to stay in a different room for one night before moving.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The check-in experience was excellent - they greeted us with cooling tea and efficiently handled the paperwork. The rooms were thoughtfully laid out, maximizing the space and providing all the necessary amenities. They were spotlessly clean and fresh, with great tea and coffee facilities. We especially appreciated the movable partitions that allowed us to close off the bathroom and toilet. The staff at this hotel are outstanding - they were extremely helpful, patient, and polite. Despite witnessing some unpleasant behavior from other guests, the staff remained excellent and went above and beyond to assist us. They even called ahead to a sister hotel in Tokyo to make preparations for our stay there. Truly outstanding service!
Don't have any issues at all.

Luxurious amenities and impeccable service were the highlights of my stay at this hotel. Their Spa & wellness centre was exceptional and indulgent, providing a wide array of massages and treatments. the Garden area was serene and picturesque, perfect for a leisurely stroll or quiet contemplation. the room advantages were exclusive and well-regarded, with plush bedding and a stunning view of the city. the Restaurant and Bar/Lounge area were both chic and inviting with an excellent selection of cuisine and drinks.
The only minor issue that I experienced during my stay at this hotel was the lack of private facilities. While the communal spaces were exceptional, I would have preferred more privacy in certain aspects.

This hotel is a luxurious option for a stay in Kyoto. the exclusive amenities, including the Spa & wellness centre and private facilities, fulfilled our needs for relaxation and comfort. the Restaurant and Bar/Lounge area provided delicious meals and drinks. the location is a short walk to the historic streets, temples, and shopping.
Our only minor issue was with the inconsistent room service. Though the room advantages, such as a spacious and comfortable seating area, made up for it.
